- Then add raw mango,saute it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium heat. Then add red chilli powder, salt,jaggery and water.
- And mix it all well nicely.
- Let it cook on medium to high heat. Keep stirring in between.
- Cook till mango becomes softened and water is reduced completely.
- The consistency of chutney will be thicker. Once done switch off the heat. It's ready to be served with paratha,puri etc.
- Once cool down store in glass containers in refrigerator. Can stay for longer period of time.
Adjust sweetness and spice levels in this chutney to taste. Use more sugar if you like sweet chutneys and more spice if you like spicy chutneys.
