- Heat a pan, add 1 tbspn oil.
- When the oil become hot add the peanuts and saute them till they change their colour and then keep them aside.
- Add a little oil and add the temperings- mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal. Let the mustard seeds crackle first then add the grated raw mango.
- Stir properly then add termaric and salt and saute for 3 to 4 mins.
- Add the rice and mix them gently. Cover the pan with a lid for 2 mins.
- Mango rice is ready to serve. It goes perfect with any type of spicy curry.
- Note : One also can use curry leavus for tempering. And you can add some grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves at the end if you want. These can give some extra flavour to the mango rice.
