The ingredients needed to make Mango Rice:
  1. Take 1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
  2. Get 1 cup Peeled & grated Raw Mango
  3. Prepare ¼ cup Coriander Leaves
  4. Get 2 tablespoon Peanuts / Groundnuts / Mungfali
  5. Get 2 tablespoon Curry Leaves
  6. Make ready 4 to 5 small Slit Green Chillies
  7. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds / Rai
  8. Get 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds / Jeera
  9. Get 1 Dry Red Chillies
  10. Make ready 1/4 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
  11. Take 2 tablespoon Oil
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder / Haldi
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp Salt
  14. Make ready 2 tsp Desiccated Coconut / Dry Coconut

This mango sticky rice recipe requires just a few ingredients. Use the ripest mangoes you can find When everything's ready, you'll scoop rice into a bowl, add some fresh mango slices, and smother it. Mango Sticky Rice is sweetened sticky rice with fresh mangoes. This dessert is very popular in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Instructions to make Mango Rice:
  1. In a cooking pan take 2 tablespoon of Oil and allow it to heat.
  2. To that, add ½ tsp of Mustard Seeds (Rai), ¼ tsp of Cumin Seeds (Jeera), ¼ tsp of Hing, 2 tablespoon of Peanuts and roast for 2 Min.
  3. Then add 1 small dry Red Chilli, 2 tablespoon of Curry Leaves, few slit green Chillies and mix well.
  4. Furthermore, add ½ tsp of Turmeric (Haldi) powder, 1 cup of peeled and grated Raw Mango and stir for 4 to 5 Min.
  5. Then add cooked Rice, ½ tsp of Salt, 2 tsp of Desiccated Coconut, ¼ cup of chopped Coriander Leaves and mix well.
  6. Toss the Rice nicely until all the Mango stuffing is coated to Rice.
  7. Mango Rice is now ready to serve.
