- Heat a pan, and add oil, fry peanuts until half roasted, fry dals until lightly golden, and then add cumin seeds, when they begin to crackle add green chillirs, red chillies, curry leaves
- When the curry leaves become crispy add hing, now add grated mango, salt and turmeric powder
- Saute for a minute and cook covered until the mango turns pulp and completely soft
- Now add cooked rice, and add a pinch of salt and mix well,
- Now serve mango rice hot
